A size label is a starting point, not a guarantee that two shirts fit the same. Compare the product’s measurements with a similar T-shirt that fits the way you like.
Measure a shirt you already wear
Lay the shirt flat without stretching it. Follow the measurement points shown in the product’s size-chart diagram for length, width and sleeves. A flat chest width is different from a measurement taken around your body.
Our T-shirt measuring guide explains how to make a useful comparison.
Match the chart to the garment
Check the style named on the product page before choosing a chart. The classic T-shirt size guide and men’s premium long sleeve size guide apply to different garments.
Allow for the fit you prefer
If you like more room, compare the next size’s actual width and length rather than automatically sizing up. Consider how you will wear the shirt, including any layers. Review the fabric and color details too, since materials can vary.
